Meet on Guided Personalised Surgery technology in knee replacement surgery
Vijayawada Orthopaedic Association (VOA) and Sunrise Hospitals (SH) Vijayawada would jointly organise a conference on using advanced Guided Personalised Surgery (GPS) technology to perform knee replacement surgery. Famous Orthopedic surgeon Nicholas JA Tulip from Netherlands will perform surgery using GPS technology at SH.

Famous Orthopedic surgeon Nicholas JA Tulip from Netherlands will perform surgery using GPS technology at SH.
SH Joint replacement surgeon M Narendra Kumar said that the awareness conference would be held at Taj Gateway Hotel on May 20 from 9 am. Addressing the media on Friday, Narendra kumar said that by performing joint replacement surgeries with the advanced GPS technology the implants can be set with 100 percent accuracy, and the implants would last for long duration. He further said that the surgery would take less time and with less blood loss, he added.
He said that senior citizens, over weight and improper life style people are prone to knee problems and with the rapid growth in the technology in medicine knee surgeries are done with accuracy. He further added that surgeries in the month of June would be done on discount, and all kinds of health cards are accepted for the surgeries, he said.
He said that the conference would start by 9 am, and famous orthopaedic surgeons from various places are expected. A live surgery would be displaced on a mega screen at the conference hall.
