Bhoole Bisre Geet presented in city

A pleasant and melodious bouquet of Hindi film songs ‘Bhoole Bisre Geet’ was presented by Setharamaiha Sangeetha Seva Trust on Sunday evening at Mankineni Basava Punnaiah Vignana Kendra Auditorium. The organisers chose old melodies of Hindi films and the singers justified the original.

The musical night commenced traditionally with the Ganesh stuti by Ramadasu and followed by 30 songs like “Yeh Kya Hua”, “Ajahre ab mera dil pukare”, “Mere maheboob tujhe”, “Mera dil e pukare aja”, “Jane bahar huusn”, “O door ki musafir”, “Tu hindu banaga na”, “Chali chalire patangi” were excellently presented by the singers.

These songs were presented by Mohammad Khaja, Ramadasu, Swaroop, Ravi Kiran, Ayaan Khan, Namrata, Ganti Usha, Haarika, Bhargavi and received appreciations for each and every song from the audience.

Wonderful and neat support was rendered by Seetha Ramaiah and Ashok on Keyboard, Ravi Kiran on Guitar, Chittibabu and Nani on Tabla and Ramana on Pads. Naresh Sharma made the musical concert success with his outstanding narration.
