Speaking on the occasion Varun Tej the hero of the movie said that he plays a NRI in the movie and the movie has an emotional touch to it. He further said that it was a great experience working with the director Shekar Kammula. After watching the movie the audiences would have a fresh feel of a different love story, added Varun Tej.

The producer Dil Raju said that the movie would be a hit for Varun Tej and said that the combination of the producer and the director had given big hits like Anand, Happy Days in the past and now Fida.

He said that he always chooses upcoming talent in his love oriented movies. He mentioned that this film would be a big hit for Varun and the whole film unit, and said that the story was pictured on Telangana girl and NRI boy. The film had love, emotions, conflict between hero and heroine families.

Fida director Shekar Kammula said that it had taken one year to complete the movie and then praised the Telengana accent of the female lead. He said that the US backdrop story was excellently portrayed in the movie and further said that the audio was a big hit.
