Bookings for the same are open now and the motorcycle is available across all dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Kochi.

The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled takes styling inspiration from off-road motorcycles of the 1960s and 1970s, and offers a more functional off-road style. The raised front mudguard, off-road focused block pattern tyres, spoked wheels, longer front suspension and the headlight mesh guard all give it a rough, tough and off-road biased look.

Powering the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is an 803cc Euro-4 compliant, twin-cylinder, air and oil cooled engine that produces 75 HP of power at 8250 RPM and 68 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM. This motor comes paired to a six-speed gearbox. The Scrambler Desert Sled sits on an all-new chassis setup that is ‘soft off-road’ focused.

The suspension is adjustable Kayaba upside down forks with 200 mm travel up front and an adjustable Kayaba monoshock at the rear. A single 330 mm disc brake with Brembo callipers at the front and a single 245 mm disc at the rear take care of braking duties. There is also the aid of Bosch ABS system. Tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR units.

Other features include a double-sided swing arm and a stainless steel muffler with aluminium tail pipes. Ducati is also offering the Scrambler Desert Sled with a dedicated accessory and apparel line. Ducati has also announced prices for the Euro 4 version of the Scrambler Icon and Scrambler Classic. Prices for the Scrambler Icon and Classic are Rs 7,23,000 and Rs 8,48,000 (ex-showroom, pan-India) respectively.
