Two-day conclave to promote Andhra Natyam

Addressing the presser, A Chandra Sekhar, Kalapriya Nrutya Kala Kshetram said that the two-day meet will discuss various aspects of the 2,000-year-old classical dance form – Andhra Natyam.
“We will discuss the topics like ‘Why the dance concept is named as Andhra Natyam’, ‘the past of Andhra Natyam’, ‘efforts of Dr Nataraja Rama Krishna to promote Andhra Natyam’, ‘selection of dance teachers’, ‘the assistance required from the government and to take the importance of Andhra Natyam to the notice of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’ among others.
Various renowned dancers will perform in the two-day meet,” he shared. Programme organiser Dr PVB Sanjeeva Rao, Lanka Satish among others were present at the press conference.
