JNTUK nod for VVIT R&D centre
Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman, Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur, informed that their department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been sanctioned with Research Center by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada.

He said they officially received the letter of sanction from JNTUK yesterday. Sagar in this regard stated that out of all the Private Engineering colleges established in this decade by the then-United Andhra Pradesh, VVIT is the Only Engineering College that has been received with this rear achievement of being sanctioned with Research Centre.
Sagar emphasised that VVIT always ponderd over the all round performance of their students and faculty by motivating them towards research and development that helps in the progress of our society. He said VVIT frequently conducts workshops, seminars and Faculty Development Programmes to all students and faculty to spur the research instinct in them.
He said they are always ready to enhance their teaching-learning and research-development facilities for the benefit of their stake holders and believed that their faculties know very well how to utilise the available resources in a meticulous way.
Dr Y Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal, who is also a Professor, in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, attributed this achievement to the Scholarly Doctorates and Senior Research Scholars in their department and the invaluable Research Facilities established by the magnanimous VVIT management. Dr Reddy, stated that this research center shall cater to the needs of an innovative and multi-disciplinary research.
