Representatives of various Muslim organisations on Friday strongly condemned the passing of Triple Talaq bill in Lok Sabha.The representatives criticised the BJP Government “for hurting the sentiments of the Muslims and demanded that some amendments be made as proposed by Congress and other Opposition parties in the Parliament.”

Muslim Hakkula Porata Samiti state general secretary Farukh Shublee, Mukthar Ali of Ahle Sunnat Jamaat, Akbar Basha of Jamat-e-Islami, MHPS District president Jani Pasha and others addressed media conference in Gandhi Nagar on Friday.

The Muslim leaders alleged that the BJP Government was suppressing the fundamental rights of Muslims and Shariat law and forcibly implementing its own policies. They criticised the BJP government of not consulting Muslim organisations before framing the bill and violated the basic rights of Muslims. They pointed out the bill was nothing but a direct interference in the lives of crores of Muslims living in India.
