BC leaders taken into preventive custody

The BC leaders and United BC JAC leaders protested the inclusion of Kapu community in BC category right from the beginning of the government’s decision. The BC leaders oppose the government’s decision on this inclusion and demand to reveal the Manjunath Commission’s Report.
All the BC JAC leaders were arrested as a precautionary measure to prevent them from holding a gherao during the CM’s visit to the Mummidivaram Janmabhoomi programme. The police house arrested some noted BC JAC leaders Kudupudi Suryanarayana, Mattaparthi Surya Chandra Rao among others. Some BC leaders who wore black scarves and were prepared to observe the day as BC Vidroha Dinam (BC sabotage day) were arrested.
