Kameswara Sarma requested the devotees to take part in the Surya worship to be performed on every Sunday ie, January 21 and 28and also on 24 Radha Saptami, 31 Poornima, 4, 11 and 14 February to have the blessings of the god. A group of devotees formed 38 years ago in Vijayawada had started the worshipping Lord Surya under the leadership of late Dasika Appayya Sastry every year during ‘Magha masam’.
