Rajamahendravaram: A student of the cultural capital of the state proved his mettle by participating in national-level Wako India Kick Boxing Federation Cup Tournament held for the year 2017-2018, at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. The tournament commenced on January 16 and continued up to January 20.

The student, Master Sumit Singh Kshatri, son of Surajilal Singh won bronze medal in junior category. He is studying in fifth standard at Bhashyam School. He took training under the coach Samuel Raj. Speaking to The Hans India, he said that he wants to become an international kick boxer and now practicing three hours daily apart from regular studies.
