AIYF and AISF to protest against government today
The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) in association with All India Students Federation (AISF) will organise a dharna seeking Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
Vijayawada: The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) in association with All India Students Federation (AISF) will organise a dharna seeking Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
Addressing the media persons here, the AIYF State secretary, N Lenin said that the statewide protest at district and mandal headquarters would focus on failure of the governments to implement poll promises.
No special allocation was made and no attempt was made to fulfil promises made to people at the time of bifurcation of the State. He informed that on February 24, they would agitate against the government on employment for youth. Similarly, on March 6 they were going to organise ‘Chelo Delhi’.
The AIYF state president, Syed Afsar, the AISF state secretary, Ranganna and others were present.
