NTR statue has same power as Venkanna: Babu

Eluru: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu made a sensational comment here on Monday saying that NTR’s statue had the same power as that of the Lord of Seven Hills Venkateswara in Tirumala.

Addressing a public meeting after unveiling NTR statue in Chagallu village, Naidu showered praise on his late father-in-law. ‘Like in the case of Venkanna (the Lord) who ensures that one’s woes end after a worship, anyone can get the same result after looking at the statue with a firm resolve,’ he observed. ‘NTR statue has the same power as Lord Venkateswara’s idol’.
