NTR Trust to organise Legendary Blood Donation Drive on Jan 18
Marking the 20th death anniversary of former Chief Minister of united AP and TDP founder President NT Rama Rao, the NTR Trust Bhavan will organise ‘Legendary Blood Donation drive’ on January 18 in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad: Marking the 20th death anniversary of former Chief Minister of united AP and TDP founder President NT Rama Rao, the NTR Trust Bhavan will organise ‘Legendary Blood Donation drive’ on January 18 in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media here, the trust Managing Trustee and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife N Bhuvaneswari said that massive blood donation camps will be held in 200 places in the two States.
They are being organised as a befitting tribute to the departed leader. Recalling the services of her father to the State, Bhuvaneswari said Red Cross, Rotary Club, Chiranjeevi and government blood banks have come forward to extend their support to the giant task taken up by the NTR Trust.
The Trust had already given new lease of life to many patients who required blood, she said. Over 4 lakh people have been provided blood since it began operations.
The Trust Chief Executive Officer (CEO) T Vishnuvardhan said many celebrities have already come forward to support the mage camp.
