Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare association took out a rally criticising the State government‘s move to add Kapus to the BC list.

The rally was organised from the clock tower to Sapthagiri circle, here on Wednesday. They said including the Kapu
community in the BC list would hinder the prospects of other backward communities of the state.

They also condemned the violence at Tuni. They reminded that BCs played a major role in TDP’s victory in the election. If government did not withdraw the decision, the protest would be intensified, they warned.
