Medico files harassment case against youth
A post-graduate medical student lodged a complaint with Eluru rural police that she was being harassed by a youth in the name of love. According to the investigating officer, ASRAM Medical College student Mareedu Deepti, who hails from Penamaluru in Krishna district, is being harassed by one youth Tummala Venkatesh for the past few days.

On March 24, Venkatesh visited ASRAM Hospital and pestered her in the name of him. He also took away a 24-gram gold chain from her.
He pestered her continuously to love him by sending flood of messages on WhatsApp and through e-mail. In the process, he also threatened to kill her if she does not love and marry him through a message on Saturday night.
The victim Deepti immediately approached the police to file a case against Venkatesh. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
