Upanishad Darshanam a philosophical book released

‘Upanishad Darshanam’, a philosophical book was released in a meeting organised jointly by Andhra Arts Academy and Madhura Bharathi on Tuesday evening at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.

The liberalised version for Upanishads was made by Dr Jayanthi Chakravarthy, and was released by Prof Yarlagadda Balagangadhara Rao. While commenting about the book, Prof Gangadhara Rao said that the Upanishads contains some philosophical concepts.

Further he discussed that these Upanishads are in the last section of Vedas, which describes the character of a person in the society and the way to attain Moksha. He also said that this book will help the reader attain maximum heights of Philosophy. He also complemented the writer Jayanthy Chakravarthy that the attempt should be appreciated because he wrote this book to understand easily by the common people.

Mallapragada Srimannarayana, a philosopher, said that man is a part of this universe and people would like to know whether the acts are correct or wrong. He felt that ‘Upanishad Darshanam’ is a hand book to solve confusion for those who want to know about morals and how to lead life in a way to make it an easy path to Mukti.

Literary personalities Dr Gumma Sambasiva Rao and Dr Palaparty Syamalanada Prasad also spoke about need of Upanishads and Vedanta to spread peace in this present society. Golla Narayana Rao, Yabaluri Loknatha Sarma, Dr MBD Syamala, Cultural Centre E Sivanaga Reddy, publisher Ravi Kumar were also present on the dais. On behalf of the organisers, the writer Jayanthi Chakravarthy was felicitated by Prof Yarlagadda Balagangadhara Rao. .
