YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday visited Nagarjunsagar project and inquired the officials regarding the situation of the water. Later, Jagan addressed a protest rally being organised at Macherla town in Guntur district to begin Mahadharna - a protest against the Andhra Pradesh government's failure to address the severe drought conditions and water crisis in the state.
The protest is being held in all the mandals across the state. Speaking at the protest rally, YS Jagan alleged that the TDP government is feigning ignorance even though there is a severe water crisis in the state.
