Singer Rasool felicitated for his contributions
Popular singer Rasool was felicitated at a programme jointly organised by Indrakeeladri Cultural Academy, Andhra Arts Academy and Telugu Kalavahini at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College in the city on Wednesday.

Ajay Kumar presented a dance recital at the felicitation function. His dance recital comprising `Gajanana’ of Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamy and `Evade Vadu’ of Sarangapani, regaled the audience. Mimicry artiste Chandu also gave a performance imitating veteran and upcoming Hindi and Telugu film actors.
Later, Rasool, K Durga Nagamani, Ramakrishnacharya and Ushanjali rendered evergreen old film songs. Golla Narayana Rao, Gumma Sambasiva Rao, Venna Vallabha Rao, Madugula Ramakrishna and others were present.
