Actor Shivaji who has been fighting for the Special Status category for Andhra Pradesh for a long time now, call to drive out the BJP from the state after the BJP led NDA government at the Centre denied the special status.

Stating that BJP proved to be worse than Congress on the issue, Shivaji urged the ruling TDP party to come out of the alliance with the BJP if they have any respect for the Telugu people.
Questioning the basis behind Chandrababu Naidu sending Sujana Chowdary to the Centre for holding a ministry in the alliance, he said that the Union Minister has failed completely in securing the interests of the state.
Shivaji further said that the BJP should be driven out of the state in order for them to understand their betrayal to AP and added that every Andhra has the constitutional right to fight for Special Category Status.
