Siemens Consortium team has opined that the traffic controlling system that was adopted in Europe is suitable to Eluru.
Eluru: Siemens Consortium team has opined that the traffic controlling system that was adopted in Europe is suitable to Eluru.
The team visited Eluru on Tuesday and conducted a preliminary study on the traffic controlling system in the city. Later consortium members Intelligent Traffic System expert Andria Ghio (Germany), D Ghere, S Bhattacharya, DN Vaidya visited the Municipal Corporation office and held a meeting with Municipal Commissioner Yarra Saye Srikanth, Traffic DSP K Srinivasa Rao and other officials.
The team gave a power point presentation on the traffic controlling system in various countries including Europe. They said that in Europe the traffic controlling system was developed using modern technology. The team visited the city as part of the proposals to make Eluru a Smart City.
