Visakhapatnam: Outlawed Maoist party Central Committee member Ramakrishna’s wife Sirisha and Paderu MLA Giddi Eswari among those, who paid tributes to the slain Maoist leader Bakuri Venkataramana alias Ganesh at the memorial meeting at his native village Bakuri under Hukumpeta mandal during the inauguration of the pylon in the memory of the tribal leader, on Wednesday.

Devendra, widow of another slain Maoist Gangadhar alias Prabhakar, said that the war against the poor tribals and the Maoists was to strengthen the government in its efforts to mine bauxite in the Agency. MLA Giddi Eswari and Sirisha did not speak. Surprisingly,
BJP leader and Coffee Board director Lokula Gandhi was also present.
