TTD adopts digital transactions

Post the launch of demonetization, pilgrims' donations have increased in temples all across the country.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which receives around Rs 1,000 crore per year i.e. nearly Rs 3 crore per day has crossed over Rs 4 crore per day after demonetization was announced.
Following the heavy collections, TTD has sought for technical support from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in order to adopt digital transactions.
Now, devotees can avail e-donations, e-hundi, e-challan, e-darshan, e-accommodation, e-seva and e-publications. Looks like the digital transactions is bringing in more accountability for the TTD staff.
