Collector mulls control room to address civic woes
East Godavari District Collector H Arun Kumar said that command control centre will soon come up in Kakinada city for redressal of public grievances and to improve civic amenities.
Kakinada: East Godavari District Collector H Arun Kumar said that command control centre will soon come up in Kakinada city for redressal of public grievances and to improve civic amenities.
Participating in the programme organised at Raja Tank premises on Sunday, Collector said that extension of various amenities such as supply of cooking gas, extension of fiber grid services and solar roof top system to public in Ramarao Peta in Kakinada city on pilot basis is on cards. He also said that the purpose and intention of smart city is to extend amenities and facilities to public in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, City MLA, Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao said that residents of Ramarao Peta should guide the administration on implementation of this programme in the entire city since educated people live in the area.
Municipal commissioner S Alim Basha , representatives of various departments connected with smart city and Andhra Bank DGM P B Rao, SBI regional manager Saibaba also attended it.
