Volleyball tourney at great pace in Eluru
Eluru: The State-level MLA Championship volleyball tournament is going on at BMRVM high School in Palacole. On the second day in Men’s category, the match between SCR (Secunderabad) and EME teams took place.

On the second day in Men’s category, the match between SCR (Secunderabad) and EME teams took place.
The EME team were good against the SCR team and bagged the match with a 3-0 score. At any stage, the EME team players showed authoritarian approach against the SCR team to win the match.
The EME team scored 13-25, 26-28, 25-23, 28-26 and 15-11 in two halves against the SCR team, giving no chance to the rival team.
In late night match in Women’s category, the Kurnool team won against the Krishna team with 2-1 score.
The Kurnool women scored 25-19, 17—25 and 15-12 to win the match.
Even the Krishna team tried to defend their scores but Kurnool was strong enough to grab the victory. Even Krishna won the second game with 25-17, did not able to get the game on track in the third round, succumbing to Kurnool for 1-2.
The West Godavari team lost to AOC team with 3-0 points in the late night match. The team at any stage did. The AOC team overpowered the West Godavari team with 25-23, 25-17 and 26-24 in three games to win the match with a 3-0 score.
