Chittoor: In a sensational event, Madanapalle police have nabbed Madhukar Reddy, a resident of Chittoor district and a notorious criminal who attacked an employee of Corporation Bank in an ATM counter in Bengaluru nearly four years ago, according to Chittoor Superintendent of Police G Srinivas.

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, the SP said that the offender attacked one Jyothi Uday (45) an employee of Corporation Bank when she entered the ATM in November 2013 and assaulted her severely.

She tried to withdraw cash from the ATM to purchase a gift for her child’s birthday. She sustained serious injuries and was then admitted in hospital.
