Baseball junior Nationals in Gudivada from Wednesday
Andhra Pradesh Baseball Association (APBA), Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) and NTR Stadium, Gudivada will jointly conduct 26th Baseball Junior Nationals at NTR stadium, Gudivada in Krishna district from February 22 to 26. Gudivada Municipal chairman Yalavarthi Srikanth released wall posters on Sunday.
Andhra Pradesh Baseball Association (APBA), Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) and NTR Stadium, Gudivada will jointly conduct 26th Baseball Junior Nationals at NTR stadium, Gudivada in Krishna district from February 22 to 26. Gudivada Municipal chairman Yalavarthi Srikanth released wall posters on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion the Municipal chairman Srikanth said that 900 players, 200 officials from 23 states would participate in the five-day tournament. “The tournament organising committee would provide free boarding and lodging for all the players,” he said.
The APBA secretary MV Satya Prasad said that all the arrangements would be completed before commencement of Nationals. “Amateur Baseball Federation of India, SAAP, Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association (APOA), Krishna DSA and NTR stadium are giving support for conducting tournament,” he said.
Krishna District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) Md Sirajuddin, APBA organising secretary D Naveen Kumar, Krishna district joint secretary Sri Latha, Krishna district Kho-Kho secretary M Prasad and others participated.
