MP, MLA offer prayers at Bhairavakona

Kanigiri: The Ongole MP Y V Subba Reddy and Kanigiri MLA Kadiri Babu Rao individually visited Bhairavakona in Nallamala forest to seek the blessings of Mahasiva, Trimukha Durgadevi and Kalabhairava. They offered prayers, along with the family members and party local leaders, at the holy shrine.

MP Subba Reddy advised the tourism department to provide basic amenities to pilgrims from Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and Krishna district who are reaching the place with lot of trouble through the thick forest. He promised to do his best in developing the area and said that he will discuss the issue with Union Tourism Minister Dr Mahesh Sarma to develop it into a tourist attraction in the district.
