BJP against appeasement of anyone, says Venkaiah
Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu reiterated that the BJP government would never and ever appease any religion particularly minorities in the country. He said the BJP treats all religions equally.

Vijayawada: Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu reiterated that the BJP government would never and ever appease any religion particularly minorities in the country. He said the BJP treats all religions equally. The BJP has conducted a victory rally on Sunday from the Gannavaram Airport to Vijayawada to mark the winning of elections in five states in North India.
State Ministers Dr. Kamineni Srinivas, P Manikyala Rao, MP K Haribabu and others participated in the rally. Later, addressing party workers at a function hall, Venkaiah Naidu said the BJP government had been trying to deliver good governance since it came to power. He said that victory of BJP in five states was a ratification of good governance and said there were no major allegations of corruption over the BJP rule in three years.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been trying to root out corruption in the country and BJP was committed to fulfill the election promises it had made to the people. ‘’We abide by our promises made to the AP on sanction of funds as per the State Reorganisation Act. He recalled the Centre sanctioning funds for Polavaram project and also top-notch educational institutions like IIIT, IIT, NIT, AIMS, Agri university, Petroleum University to AP. He said the Central government gave legal sanctity to Special package as it had not given the Special Category Status to AP.
He flayed the comments made by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on north India and south India and BJP does not differentiate such way, he added. He also commented on the Communist and Congress Party’s attitude saying that the popularity of the two parties is declining in the country. He observed the Modi’s rule is required for India for 10 years for good governance, poverty alleviation and reducing economic inequalities in the country.
