Amaravati: The government’s aim is to provide corruption-free and transparent governance, said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating a mega call centre for public grievances (Parishkara Vedika) at Guntupalli of Ibrahimpatnam mandal near Vijayawada on Friday. He said the call centre was set up in a bid to eradicate corruption in the government departments and provide efficient administration.

Naidu said the call centre will receive complaints from the people directly, which will be forwarded to him.

“After receiving the complaint from the people on any particular department, I will personally go through the complaint and through my voice the complainant will get response. After seeking more information from the complainant, I will take further action after consulting the minister concerned,” the Chief Minister said.

While explaining the various schemes launched by the state government during the last three years, he said it was his aim to establish a poverty-free society. He reiterated that through real-time governance he would ensure efficient and transparent administration.

While appealing to the people to co-operate with the government for providing able and efficient administration, he asked them to give valuable suggestions in this regard.

The call centre will call the people seeking suggestions on the performance of the government, where the people can also make good suggestions for good governance, Naidu said.

The mega call centre under the name of ‘Parishkara Vedika’ has been established at Guntupalli in 10,000 sq yards plinth area. It has been linked to all the 28 government departments.

As many as 1200 employees will work at the call centre which will run directly under the aegis of the Chief Minister and the State Planning Commission will supervise it.

Every grievance of the caller will be kept confidential and the department concerned will take further action on it following the directions of the Chief Minister.

Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, I and PR minister Kalva Srinivasulu, State Planning Board Deputy Chairman C Kutumba Rao and others were present on the occasion.
