Naidu reiterated that action would be taken against those who violate party discipline and cause damage to party image.

Addressing the party activists at the inaugural session of Mahanadu at Andhra University grounds here on Saturday, he called upon the party leaders to visit every house in the villages to solve people’s problems and campaign on the government schemes which have been implemented so far.

He exuded confidence that the people would vote for TDP if the party activists took the initiative and solved their problems. Naidu said the party would recognize the services of dedicated workers and leaders who serve the people. He also said people will not forget the parties and leaders who stand for them and protect them.

Hailing the services of TDP founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, he said NTR had introduced several welfare schemes for the poor including Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme and housing facility. The TDP supremo said the Congress party does not have any future in the State while the Opposition party YSR Congress lacked vision.

Naidu assured that the TDP will take care of the welfare of the workers who always stand by the party. He however cautioned them that no corruption activities would be tolerated.

The TDP national president and the Chief Minister said that the government is striving to provide corruption-free governance while utilising the technology.

Naidu pointed out that the government has introduced several schemes for the welfare of SCs, BCs, economically backward classes and Kapus.

He said the government would solve Kapus reservation issue without causing any harm to the interests of the BCs. He wished that both the Telugu states AP and TS should witness progress and people of the two States should be happy.

Naidu claimed that AP is the only State in the country which has been implementing the farm-loan waiver scheme and paying pensions to people on a large-scale. He pointed out that the State has been requesting the resolve the pending issues like the railway zone and other issues.

He praised the TDP Telangana unit for continuously making efforts to fight against the anti-people policies of the State government. Deputy Chief Ministers K E Krishnamurthy, N Chinarajappa, TDP State president Kala Venkata Rao, Telangana TDP president L Ramana, working president Revanth Reddy, several ministers and leaders were present.
