Auto driver returns 7 tolas of gold

Mohammad Irshadmiya (30), was cleaning his auto on Wednesday morning, when he saw a handbag in the luggage shelf behind the rear seat of his auto. He immediately remembered the last passengers that he had dropped home the previous night.
On Tuesday night, he picked-up Dasari Prasanna Rao and his family from the new bus stand at Medak after they returned from a wedding in Nizamabad. He dropped them at their home in the Church compound of Medak town.
The passengers removed the luggage but forgot to take the handbag which they put in the luggage shelf. Irshadmiya went home unaware of the bag left behind by the passengers. The bag contained seven tolas of gold and clothes. Immediately, he went back to Prasanna Rao's house and returned the bag containing gold ornaments.
Speaking to The Hans India K Bhasker, Medak Town Circle Inspector of Police said that a monetary reward was given to the driver for his honesty by the police department. He also said that the department would recommend him for an award as part of Independence Day celebrations as well.
"Doosron ka maal apanko kaiku?" said Irshadmiya, when asked what made him return the valuables. zIrshadmiya, a resident of Durgammagaini in Papannapet mandal, passed SSC examination and became an autorickshaw driver a couple of years. He has three children who are going to school. It also needs to be mentioned that the careless people who forgot to take their bag, didn't even reward the auto driver for his noble gesture.
