MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad on Monday predicted that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would defeat the plans of election strategist Prasanth Kishor like Arjun in the Maha Bharat in the coming Assembly elections. He said,\"The Chief Minister will fight like Arjun and Prasanth Kishor will perish like Karna\".

Addressing media at TDP state party office in Guntur city, he said the irregularities and scams committed by YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy would haunt him like curses and defeat the party.
Accusing the Opposition of creating hurdles in the development works as it had no work, Vara Prasad said the YSRCP had hired Prasanth Kishor as it has become weak. “Generally, in plenary meetings parties would review their performance and discuss strategies to be adopted in the coming years.
But the YSRCP leaders confined themselves to level corruption allegations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.
Stating that Naidu took out padayatra before the last Assembly elections to know the people’s problems, he said Jagan now decided to undertake padayatra only with an eye on CM post. He made it clear that Jagan would never win the confidence of voters.
