Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prathipati Pulla Rao performed bhumipooja for the construction of mini-bus stand on the NTR bus station premises at a cost of Rs 1.75 crore for the convenience of the passengers. He said that the mini-bus stand complex construction will be completed by the end of October.

He said that the government decided to collect Rs 5 minimum ticket to travel in the city bus services. He said that there is need to regulate the private city.

He further stated that the RTC will ply more city buses in the days to come. RTC regional manager G Srihari explained steps taken by the RTC management to operate city buses in the city and render better services to the passengers. He urged the passengers to avail facilities provided by the government.

MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy, Joint Collector Kruthika Shukla were among those participated in the programme.
