The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met the team, who rescued Chandrashekar, the two-year old boy who fell into a uncovered borewell in Ummadivaram village in Vinukonda mandal of Guntur district, at Secretariat on Thursday and directed the officials to prepare a case study, besides documenting the rescue strategy for future reference.

Amaravati: The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met the team, who rescued Chandrashekar, the two-year old boy who fell into a uncovered borewell in Ummadivaram village in Vinukonda mandal of Guntur district, at Secretariat on Thursday and directed the officials to prepare a case study, besides documenting the rescue strategy for future reference.

He asked the officials to create awareness among public to report on uncovered borewells to the authorities concerned.
“People should click the photos of such borewells on their smartphones and send it to local authorities,” he said.

Naidu deposited Rs 2 lakh in the name of the rescued child, which would increase to Rs 20 lakh once the child completes 20 years.The team c of officials from different departments detailed the Chief Minister on how the rescue operation was conducted.
