Teach Naidu a fitting lesson: Jagan
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday called upon the electorate in Nandyal to teach Telugu Desam supremo N Chandrababu Naidu a befitting lesson for cheating them with false promises.

Continuing his election campaign at Sai Baba Nagar in Nandyal, the YSRCP chief said that Naidu has duped farmers in the name of loan waiver. TDP government had promised the Self-Help Groups of waiving off Rs 14,000 crore, but did nothing after coming to power, lamented Jagan. On one hand, Naidu assured the women that he would close the belt shops. But, on other hand, the government is planning to provide home delivery of liquor. This seems to be the only achievement that Chandrababu Naidu has made during his three-and-a-half-year stint, he quipped.
Alleging that the TD leaders have amassed wealth and managed to buy 21 MLAs belonging to YSRCP, he said now they are using the same money power to purchase votes in Nandyal byelection. “Prior to TDP government, we used to get palm oil, kerosene, wheat flour and sugar from ration shops apart from rice. But now, we are not getting any of these items except rice,” he stated.
Jaganmohan Reddy said though the government had assured to construct houses to all the poor. But, the government forcing the beneficiaries to bear half of house construction cost by taking high interest loans from the bank, he slammed. Reiterating not a single rupee has been sanctioned by government for the development of colonies in Nandyal for the last 3 years, he said now the government is making tall promises that it will develop Nandyal on par with other cities.
Jagan said that he will strive for the development of Nandyal and stated that his Nava Rathnalu will be benefit everyone in the state. He urged the voters to cast their valuable vote in favour of Silpa Mohan Reddy and put an end to TDP misrule.
