The State Election Commission has made all the preparations for the counting of votes in the Kakinada Municipal Corporation Polls.

The counting will take place at Rangaraya Medical College and the results will be out officially by today afternoon. The officials concerned have set up 14 tables for counting of votes in 12 rounds. Elaborate security arrangements are in place at the counting stations.
A total of 241 candidates contested for 48 divisions with YSR Congress competing in all the 48 divisions, TDP in 39 divisions, and BJP competed in nine divisions.
