Pithapuram: The Padagaya shrine here is all set for the 10-day Vijayadasami celebrations from September 21 with the officials completing all arrangements for the conduct of Purvathika and Kumkum puja to Goddess Rajarajeswari. The deity will be decorated in various forms during the festival. Abhishekams to Kukkuteswara Swamy and Dattatreya Swamy will be performed. Queue lines for the devotees have been put up.

Saranavaratri Chandiyagam will to be conducted from Thursday in the temple, with local MLA SVSS Varma and his wife performing ‘Kalasasthapana’, executive officer Chandaka Dorababu told The Hans India. He said during the yagam, ‘sahasrapushaparchana’, ‘nirajana mantra pushpa Chaturvedi Swasthi Darbar Seva’ will be conducted.

Vigneswara puja, Mahaganapathi and Dattatreya abhishekams would also be organised. The celebration will conclude with ‘mahapurnahuti’ on September 30. Temple chairman Kondepudi Suryaprakash Rao and trustees said that all facilities will be provided to the devotees during the 10 days.
