Tirupati: Former Congress MP Chinta Mohan demanded that the central government should take up Dugarajapatnam port works by allocating 200 acres of land. He held protests in Renigunta, Yerpedu and Srikalahasti on Thursday along with the Congress workers.

He said, Mannavaram BHEL project works should be completed which was meant for the employment of youth in Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency area.

He also demanded to run the international air services from Tirupati International Airport. With the implementation of GST, the prices of basic commodities were also sky rocketing, he said.

Though the prices of petroleum products have come down internationally, due to the policies of the central government they have not come down in our country, he criticised.

Srikalahasti constituency In-charge Dr Bathaiah Naidu, P Prabhakar, Nagooraiah, Siddaiah, Ravan and Muni Lakshmi were also present.
