Vijayawada: Presiding deity of Sri Kanaka Durga on Indrakeeladri will be attired as Bala Tripurasundari Devi on the second day on Friday as part of Dasara celebrations.
The deity is decorated in nine avatarams during Dasara celebrations. Priests say Sri Bala Mantram is very significant and the mantram is recited to give good education to the children. Temple authorities predict a large number of devotees will throng Durga temple on Friday to have darshan of Goddess.
