Dwaraka Tirumala: Devotees thronged the Goddess Kunkullamma temple near the pilgrim centre of Dwaraka Tirumala on Thursday as the SarannavaratriUtsavam started with festive fervour in the temple. Goddess Kunkullamma Temple is a sub-temple of Dwaraka Tirumala Devasthanam. Endowments officials have made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims to have a darshan and offer prayers to the Goddess Kunkullamma.

On the first day of festival, the priests decorated the goddess as Renuka Devi. Kalasha Pooja, ChandiHomam, Kumkuma Pooja have also been performed. Temple Executive officer and Joint Commissioner of Endowments VendraTrinadha Rao told The Hans India that every day the goddess will appear in various decorations. He said the Sarannavaratriutsavam would be conducted until September 30.

He said elaborate arrangements have been made for the pilgrims at the temple. On October 3, Maha Anna prasaddam will be conducted to 5,000 people at the temple, he said and added that donors have come forward to donate liberally for the Maha Anna Prasadam.
