Chittoor: District Collector P S Pradyumna said on Monday that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be visiting the district on October 14, to review the progress of various developmental works and welfare schemes. The Chief Minister will be on a two-day visit to the Kuppam Assembly constituency.

In return journey to Amaravati on October 14, Chandrababu is expected to participate in review meeting with district officials and will address a public meeting in Chittoor. The Collector inspected the District Police Office and RLN Convention Centre in the city to select venue for the public meeting. District SP Rajasekhar Babu, TDP district president P Nani, MLC B N Rajasimhulu and other officials have accompanied the Collector for inspection of the venues.

Earlier, Pradyumna held a meeting with district officials at his residence to review arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. He instructed the officials concerned to complete the construction of individual latrines in selected villages and Anganwadi buildings and houses under NTR Housing Scheme. He directed the officials to take steps for prevention of tank breaches. DRDA Project Director Ravi Prakash Reddy, SE Ramakrishna and other officials were present in the review meeting.
