Dalit activists demand DSP Ravibabu’s arrest
Dalit Praja Sangala Ikyavedika demanded arrest of DSP Dasari Ravi, who is accused of killing rowdy-sheeter of Gajuwaka Gedela Raju.
Visakhapatnam: Dalit Praja Sangala Ikyavedika demanded arrest of DSP Dasari Ravi, who is accused of killing rowdy-sheeter of Gajuwaka Gedela Raju.
They also demanded action against a former commissioner of police, who neglected in filing FIR against the police officer soon after a complaint was lodged by Padmalatha, who also died under mysterious circumstances.
The DSP allegedly killed Gedela Raju, who began black-mailing him after death of Padmalatha. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Mala Mahanadu State vice-president Thadi Babji said had the police acted on the complaint lodged by the former MLA daughter Padmalatha, she and Gedela Raju would have been alive.
Apart from Thadi Babji, chairman of Ikya Vedika Boddu Kalyana Rao, Visakhapatnam general secretary Boni Ganesh and other leaders from various organisations were present.
