Superintendent of Police releases booklet on police martyrs
Commemorating the Police Martyr\'s Day, Visakhapatnam Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sarma released a leaflet ‘SMRUTHI - Real Heroes’ prepared by Drona Consultancy head Sureshbetha, in the city on Friday.
Visakhapatnam: Commemorating the Police Martyr's Day, Visakhapatnam Superintendent of Police Rahul Dev Sarma released a leaflet ‘SMRUTHI - Real Heroes’ prepared by Drona Consultancy head Sureshbetha, in the city on Friday.
Rahul Dev Sarma paid homage to the police martyrs before interacting with the kin of the victims. He enquired about the problems of families of departed cops.
In the book, it was discussed why October 21 was being observed as the Police Martyr's Day. Also, it talks about the departed cops, including Ch Umesh Chandra, Paradesi Naidu, KS Vyas, Krishna Prasad, Muddada Gandhi, Karanam Nagavara Prasad, Dadapalli and others.
The police officers praised Sureshbetha for coming up with a leaflet. Additional SP G Srikanth, DSP and DTC A Venkata Rao, Subba Raju, District Police Association president Kadimsetty Peraju and others attended.
