Visakhapatnam: Unknown persons intruded into house by breaking the locks of the front door and decamped with gold and silver ornaments at Srinivasnagar area near Simhachalam under Pendurthy police station on Saturday.
Circle Inspector J Murali said house owner Gandreddy Appa Rao locked the house and went to a hospital, along with family members. After he returned home, he found the front door of his house open. When checked he found two-and-a- half tolas of gold and 56 grams of silver were missing. A case has been registered and police visited the house along with the finger print experts.
