Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu expressed his happiness in this regard and said that the farmers would face the real development in Singapore.

The Chief Minister also shared his satisfaction with the farmers coming forward to give their lands for the state development.

The first batch consisting of 34 farmers gathered at Secretariat and were taken to the International Airport at Shamshabad by bus arranged by the AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).

120 farmers were selected by the CRDA to visit Singapore in three batches as a part of the agreement between the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Singapore.

The aim of the tour is to help the farmers acquire the knowledge of best practices in business and entrepreneurship.

Rs 40 lakh has been reportedly allocated by the state government to send farmers to Singapore. The farmers will stay in Singapore for four days and get to know the practices of business in Singapore.
