Educational institutions, banks and private organisations arranged picnic to enjoy the festival season. Karthika Masam is well known for garden parties and picnic parties.

A large number of people with their family members, friends, well-wishers and colleagues spent Sunday. Heavy bandobust was arranged with the police between Vijayawada and Nuzvid route as thousands of families visit the mango orchards to spend the vacation.
