Ensure better future to govt hostel students
District Collector S Satyanarayana gave a call to officials of the Social Welfare department to strive for providing better future to the students. He reviewed the implementation of social welfare schemes with officials at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Friday.
Kurnool: District Collector S Satyanarayana gave a call to officials of the Social Welfare department to strive for providing better future to the students. He reviewed the implementation of social welfare schemes with officials at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Friday.
Addressing the officials, the Collector informed officials to treat the hostel students as their own children. The concern shown by the officials will help the students to feel hostel as their home and excel in studies, he said and directed the officials to serve food as per menu provided by the government and to display menu on the hostel premises.
The Collector instructed the welfare officers to maintain cleanliness in and around the hostels. He advised the welfare officers to get know the progress of students with the school teacher concerned. BC Corporation Executive Director Prasad Rao, Minority Welfare Department Officer Masthan Vali and other officials participated in the review meeting.
