Kurnool: Police registered a case against YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for attending the women conference conducted by the party at Hussainapur in Banaganapalle Assembly Constituency limits in Kurnool district on Monday.
Initially, the district police accorded permission to the conference. On the instructions of the government, police cancelled permission. YSR Congress senior leaders RK Roja and constituency incharge Katasani Ramireddy were also booked for conducting the meeting.
Cases were registered against YSR Congress leaders on the grounds that the meeting was conducted without permission and created traffic problems. Police are busy seeking legal option to take action.
