Former AP CM's Brother Joins TDP
Former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s brother Kishore Kumar Reddy has joined the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Thursday.
Amaravati: Former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s brother Kishore Kumar Reddy has joined the Telugu Desam Party in the presence of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Thursday.
Chandrababu welcomed Kishore Kumar Reddy into the party by offering party's shawl.
Nallari family is well known political family in Chittoor district. Kiran Kumar Reddy has strongly opposed the bifurcation of the state,resigned and parted ways with Congress party. Later he formed Jai Samaikyandhra party and fielded candidates during 2014 elections.
Kishore Kumar Reddy contested the elections at that time from Piler constituency and secured about 57,000 votes. Though he lost the election to YCP candidate C Ramachandra Reddy, he pushed the TDP candidate to third place.
