Former MLC joins YSRCP
Former DCC president and MLC Dommeti Venkateswarlu has joined the YSR Congress Party in Kurnool district on Thursday morning.
Kunrool: Former DCC president and MLC Dommeti Venkateswarlu has joined the YSR Congress Party in Kurnool district on Thursday morning.
He joined the YSRCP along with his followers in the presence of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Pattikonda. The YSRCP chief welcomed them into the party by offering party's shawl. Speaking on the occasion, Dommeti Venkateswarlu said that YS Jagan's padayatra has been getting tremendous responce everywhere.
He said that YS Jagan only can bring back YSR's golden era.
Dommeti Venkateswarlu was elected as an MLA from Tallarevu Assembly Constituency in 2004 elections and continued till 2009.
Earlier in the day, YS Jagan commenced his yatra from Narsapur Crossroads in Veldurthi mandal of Pattikonda Assembly constituency at 8 am.
